No. We are not a bank or a lender. We support you with sourcing and application assistance. The loan is sanctioned and disbursed by the bank/NBFC, and the approval, loan amount, interest rate and tenure are decided by that lender.
We assist with Personal Loans, Home Loans, Business Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP) / Mortgage Loans, Auto Loans and Education Loans. Availability of a product depends on our lender partners and your profile.

Yes, the Quick Eligibility Check on this website is free. It gives you a first indication only — the final decision always rests with the lender.
It is the chat assistant at the bottom-right of this page. It answers common questions about documents, eligibility, rates and EMI in English, Hindi and Kannada. It gives general guidance only — it cannot approve a loan or see live lender status.
Lenders mainly look at your income and repayment capacity, credit score and credit history, existing EMIs, stability of your job or business, age, and — for secured loans such as Home Loan and LAP — the legal and technical status of the property.
As a general guide, salaried applicants are usually between 21 and 60 years and self-employed applicants between 21 and 65 years. The exact limits vary by lender and loan type.
Yes. A good credit score and clean repayment history improve your chances of approval and can help with better terms. It also helps to avoid making several loan applications at the same time without need.
FOIR (Fixed Obligation to Income Ratio) is the share of your monthly income that goes towards fixed obligations such as existing EMIs. Lenders set a limit on it, so higher existing EMIs can reduce the loan amount you are eligible for.
For personal loans, lenders generally look for 6 months to 2 years of total work experience, and usually 3–6 months with your current employer. This depends on the lender.
For self-employed and business loans, business vintage is generally 2–3 years or as per lender policy. It is verified through your GST Certificate, or through a Business/Trade Licence copy if you do not have a GST Certificate.
It is often possible. Your existing EMIs are considered in the eligibility calculation. You may be asked for your running loan details and your last 6 months’ EMI-debited bank statement.
Some lenders consider this case by case, based on your income, credit profile, the proposed business and extra documents such as a business plan. It depends entirely on the lender’s policy.
PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, a passport-size photograph (if required), address proof if your current address differs from Aadhaar, and bank statements. The lender may ask for more depending on the loan type.
Form 26AS is a tax-credit statement that you can download from the Income Tax portal. It shows the income reported for you and the tax deducted (TDS). For personal loans, lenders use the last 2 years’ Form 26AS to cross-check your declared income.
Home Loan: sale agreement / agreement to sell, sale deed or title deed, approved building plan, encumbrance certificate (if applicable), property tax receipts, Khata certificate/extract, occupancy or completion certificate, and builder documents where applicable.
LAP: registered sale deed, chain of title documents, mother deed (where applicable), encumbrance certificate, approved building plan, property tax receipts, Khata/property extract, and occupancy or completion certificate where applicable.
Khata is the property record maintained for a property. For Home Loans we note the Khata type — A Khata, B Khata, E Khata, Manual Khata or other. Whether a property is acceptable depends on the lender’s legal and technical verification.
Keep your last 6 months’ EMI-debited bank account statement and the running loan details ready, along with the type of loan — Personal Loan, Home Loan, LAP, Business Loan or Credit Card.
Possibly. Depending on your profile, a lender may also ask for co-applicant or guarantor documents, additional bank or credit card statements, additional address proof, property valuation or legal opinion documents, and closure/foreclosure letters for existing loans.
Know the loan amount you need, your preferred tenure and the purpose of the loan. Keep your PAN, Aadhaar, salary slips or ITR, bank statements and Form 26AS ready. Personal loans are usually unsecured, so no property or collateral is involved.
Yes. Both can apply, but the documents differ — salaried applicants provide salary slips and a salary-credited bank statement, while self-employed applicants provide ITRs, financial statements and business proof.
The loan amount you are looking for, the property location, the property type (plot, apartment, flat or other) and the Khata type (A, B, E, Manual or other), along with your identity and income documents.
Not necessarily. Property acceptance depends on the lender’s legal and technical verification, and the property location must be within the lender’s serviceable areas.
Your business type (proprietorship, partnership firm, LLP, private or public limited company, or other), the nature of your business, the business start year and vintage, annual turnover, and the loan amount, purpose and tenure you need.
Turnover can be verified through GST returns, ITR, audited financial statements, bank statements or other documents accepted by the lender.
A LAP is a loan where you pledge a residential or commercial property that you own as security to get funds. Because it is secured, the lender carries out legal and technical checks on the property.
The loan amount depends on the lender’s valuation of the property, its loan-to-value (LTV) policy, and your income and repayment capacity. We will also collect the property location, property type and ownership details.
Fill in the Quick Eligibility Check on this website, message us on WhatsApp, or call us. Our team will review your requirement, tell you which documents to keep ready and guide you through the rest of the process.
It varies by loan type, lender and how complete your documents are. Secured loans such as Home Loan and LAP usually take longer because of property verification, while unsecured personal loans are generally quicker. We cannot guarantee a fixed timeline.
Lenders may run legal, technical (property), income, employment, residence, business and credit verification, depending on the loan type.
Please contact our team by phone or WhatsApp with your name and mobile number. The Ask FINNWORLD assistant gives general guidance only and cannot see live lender status.
The lender issues a sanction letter stating the approved amount, tenure and interest rate. Read it carefully before signing. After you complete the loan agreement and any other formalities, the lender disburses the loan.
Yes, where the lender allows it. A co-applicant with a steady income can improve eligibility, especially for home loans. Their PAN, Aadhaar and income documents will also be needed.
EMI stands for Equated Monthly Instalment — the fixed amount you pay the lender every month. Each EMI covers a part of the principal and the interest.
It depends on three things: the loan amount, the interest rate and the tenure. The standard formula is EMI = P × r × (1+r)n / ((1+r)n − 1), where P is the loan amount, r is the monthly interest rate and n is the number of months. You can try it on our EMI Calculator.
No. The calculator gives an estimate only. Your actual EMI depends on the interest rate, tenure and charges finalised by the lender in your sanction letter.
A longer tenure lowers your monthly EMI but increases the total interest you pay. A shorter tenure raises the EMI but reduces the total interest.
Yes. Lenders add your existing EMIs to the proposed EMI when checking your FOIR, so higher existing EMIs can reduce the amount you are eligible for.
Prepayment and foreclosure options, and any charges, depend on the loan type and the lender’s terms. Please check your sanction letter and loan agreement, and ask us if anything is unclear before you sign.
Late payment charges may apply and missed payments can lower your credit score, which affects future borrowing. If you expect difficulty paying, speak to your lender early.
No. Final eligibility, documentation, interest rate, loan amount, tenure and approval are subject to the policies of the respective bank/NBFC and your individual profile, income and credit score.
No. Rates shown as “Starting from” are indicative. The rate you actually get depends on your profile, the loan type and the lender.
Processing fees and other charges are set by the lender and stated in the lender’s documents. Please read your sanction letter and loan agreement carefully, and ask our team before you sign if any charge is unclear.
Submitting false, edited or manipulated documents can lead to rejection of your application and other serious consequences. Please share only genuine, clear and valid documents.
Your details are collected to assess and process your loan request, which involves sharing them with the relevant bank/NBFC. Please share documents only through FINNWORLD’s official phone number and WhatsApp listed on this website.
Never share your OTP, card PIN/CVV or net-banking password with anyone, including callers who say they are from a bank, lender or loan company. Verify contact details before sharing documents.
No. The answers and checklists here are for general guidance. Individual bank/NBFC requirements and eligibility criteria may differ, and a lender may ask for additional documents.
